Integrated Results-Based Management & Macro Development Planning Date: 17-28 June 2010 Duration : 10 days Venue : Melia Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Target group : Officials from Royal Government of Bhutan Description : There were 22 participants from Bhutan who attended this workshop. This was a specially customized workshop on IRBM meant to provide exposure on critical aspects of RBM and its strategic appilcation for macro development planning and implementation initiatives under the National Development Plan in Bhutan. Government agency visits were part of the learning process where participants were able to exchange and learn on M&E related aspects and best practices. Date: 5-9 April 2010 Duration: 5 days Venue: Melia Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Target Group: Punjab senior government officials Description: The traning program was specially customized for senior officials from Punjab province. The workshop covered key topics of IRBM, RRB, IDP under the MfDR concepts and principles. The learning process included visits to the Economic Planning and Coordination Unit, and the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia. This was a value added experience for the delegates interms of learning process in the above areas mentioned. ADB TA 6410 Workshop 2009 (Course # 4) Date : 6 - 9 October 2009 Duration : 4 Days Venue :Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Center, Shanghai. Target group :Senior Government Officials of GMSCountries Description : Workshop on Public Sector Monitoring and Evaluation. ADB's technical assistance on Capacity Development for monitoring and evaluation brought together 17 participants from Viet Nam, Laos, and Cambodia for the Public Sector and monitoring workshop on 6-9 October 2009. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Aru Rasappan and Jerry Winston from CeDRE International, Malaysia and was held at the Asia Pacific Finance and Development Center (AFDC) in Shanghai, PRC. M&E Downline Training for Government Officials of Laos Date: 9 -11 September 2009 Duration: 3 days Venue: Vientiane Province, Lao PDR. Description: There were 21 senior policy officials from Laos who attended this workshop. This was a follow-up country workshop on M&E policy for GMS country participants which was held in Kuala Lumpur from 20-24 July 2009.
